Unreleased Beyoncé music, other items stolen from hard drives in Atlanta
ATLANTA, Ga. (WANF/Gray News) - Someone reportedly made off with unreleased music from Beyoncé as the superstar is set to finish her “Cowboy Carter” tour stops in Atlanta.
The reported theft happened at Krog Street NE on July 8, just two days before Beyoncé’s first concert at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The artist’s choreographer and a dancer told police they parked a rental car in a parking deck, and when they returned, the car had been broken into.
Five jump drives containing “watermarked music, some unreleased music, footage plans for the show, and past and future set list” were taken, an Atlanta Police Department incident report states.
Several other items including AirPods, a MacBook Pro and two suitcases were also stolen.
Atlanta police said the department has “secured an arrest warrant for a suspect,” but their identity has not been released.
Monday is the last show of the Cowboy Carter Tour for stops in Atlanta.
